We are looking for a Techno - Functional Business Analyst, who is/are able to fulfill the following requirements:

The Functional Business Analyst will be responsible for the functional analysis, design, implementation and testing of a portfolio of Java application modules (to be migrated from mainframe COBOL applications) and managing required enhancements for the applications.

Duration: 12 Months

Requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Computing or its equivalent
- Minimum of at least 2 years related experience in Business Analyst/Developer capacity
- Primary Skill: Java Enterprise Edition
- Technical exposure to software development and entire software development lifecycle will be preferred|
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, impact analysis, functional testing, and documentation will be mandatory
- Proficient/Conversant in either of the following languages Java or COBOL is preferred
- Intermediate SQL knowledge to work with/mine data on database
- DB2 database and Eclipse IDE experiences is preferred but not mandatory

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identifying business/functional requirements that would include re-engineering requirements from COBOL codes, interviews with end users and translating/documenting them into Java UIs and services for respective application modules
- Working with both onshore/offshore developers to implement the above designed UIs and Java services on time and with quality
- Work with users to mine data that are suitable to be used for user acceptance testing and automation of test results
- Performing system integration testing and coordinating user acceptance tests with users
- Providing consulting and solution options on application design issues encountered by end users
- Reviewing solution blueprints, estimates, conceptual designs, and other deliverables
- Responsible for end to end deliverables of the application modules assigned to
