Job Description

We are looking for a SAP PaPM Consultant, who is/are able to fulfill the following requirements:

Duration: 1.8 Months Extendable


- Expert Product Skills: PaPM, FSDP/FRDP, FPSL/AFI,
- Deep understanding of Credit Risk, S4H Finance, Core Banking Deposits, Cost allocations
- Expertise in Banking Domain Skills: Accounting for Financial Instruments (AFI), Valuation of Financial Instruments (incl. OIS discounting), Basel II/III, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
- Senior level Delivery Execution skills: Proof of Concepts (PoC), Estimations, Planning, Resourcing, Architecture, Design and Configuration
- SAP Certification in relevant module is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:
The following use-cases defined under the Service Charges module for Core Finance workstream:
- Statistical Key Engine / Module: An automated solution that takes underlying source data from ledger / consol / other and calculates / models allocation key scenarios for onward service charge processes
- Core Calculation Engine: Comprehensive calculation engine that enables a transparent, flexible, efficient & trusted cost allocation process
- Parallel Processing: Due to the current overlap in running BAU processes and the future desire to run expanded cost scenarios, the solution needs the ability to run multiple calculations in parallel
- FX Reporting: Ability to support the group FX Reporting strategy, including FX Neutral reporting
- What If Modelling: Run service charge calculation based on a series of different scenarios -
   -> Run calculation using different driver strategies across businesses
   -> Run across different reporting structures and hierarchies
- Reporting: Broad reporting requirement is covered as part of this use case which covers transparency, controls and analytical capabilities

For the above use cases, the following activities are to be performed by the PaPM Expert:
SAP Activity - Scope:
Week 1:
- Review high level functional requirements
- Review functional design documentation
- Review proposed architecture and integration points|
- Review project plan
- Review key design decision / requirements
- Review proof of concept configuration

Outcome: Technical review document including
- Proposed technical solution for key design decisions
- Document best practice considerations to support requirements
- Recommendations on functional design
- Recommendations / enhancements to proof of concept
- Project plan and sequencing considerations and recommendations (support finalisation of project plan)

Week 2:
- Attend technical design workshops
- Review first draft functional design documentation
- Review technical design documentation (post initial recommendations)
- Review proposed architecture, including integration solution design

Outcome: Technical review document including
- Key focus points / proposed changes for technical design
- Architecture considerations, validation of integration approach
- Guidance on build sequencing and time estimates
- Validation of best practice alignment
- Validate project plan

Week 3:
- Review system configuration and integration
- Test planning
- Conclude on technical design documentation
- Support troubleshooting

Outcome: Technical review document including:
- Recommendations and enhancements to current configuration
- Outline of areas of support for troubleshooting
- Highlight risks and issues
