Job Description

We are looking for an Executive, SalesTouch Lite Roll Out Consultant, who is/are able to fulfill the following requirements:

Duration: 6 Months  (Extendable)


-Vocational training in business process and systems relevant integrations in both wholes and retails
-Relevant Education in business management, business consulting skills/technique and/ or IT Management

-Bachelar digree or master digree holder in business management or information technology
-Years automotive experience with strong IT system integration and digital technologies e.g. web and app

Specific knowledge:
-Understanding of and commitment to IT as wholese and retail concerning digital solutions and technologies
-Good knowledge in digital technologies and development trends
-Good understanding of all Daimler wholesales and retail processes and applications
-Very self-reliant and self-motivated working style
-Strong strategic thinking and planning
-Strong leadership and good team player as working in an international and intercultural context
-Readiness to travel (approx. 50% of working time is abroad)
-Fast learning, open-minded and focused
-Very good attitude to workload, pressure, documentation, customers and internal colleagues
-Good planning and organisational skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

Objective of job:

-To be a core competent force in BCE project – SalesTouch Lite
-To gather requirements and analize the requirements
-To define technical expectation to vendors
-To govern integration of global and/or regional systems required
-To streamline the system processes among defined integrated systems
-To manage and measure vendors’ solution delivered
-To perform user acceptance test
-To transfer knowledge to rollout out team

Communicative relationships:
-Supervisor: Report and update on-going activities on product and project. Discuss approach, templates & tools. Discuss issues. Obtain approval, job planning. Evaluate change request and change evaluation and escalation.
-Business Unit: Collect business requirements, propose solutions, align use cases and test cases. Jointly approach to markets for requirement clarification, scope alignment, system positioning.
-Project Manager: Update project status and progress, follow up project open topics under own domain, input to project manager for effort, impact, escalation, open topics and resource required for support.
-HQ and HQ relevant domain areas: Receive information/guidelines on existing solutions, framework, strategies even best practice. Frequently discuss on integrations with global applications and jointly work out solutions on project base.
-Vendors: Manage vendors in relation to design, solutions, issues, testing, change request, scope etc. Measure vendor deliverables.
-Regional CoC: Technical alignment and discussionon integration functions and interfaces with respective domain experts of regional applications.
-Markets IT and Business Units: Keep close communication and relationship with markets. Update the progress and status of product functions and soutions. Transfer knowledge and know-how.

Demand and Scope management:
-Gather requirements
-Clarify requirements
-Synergize requirements
-Identify gaps and localizations
-Review gaps and localizations
-Govern change requests from gaps and localizations
-Interprete requirements (BRDs) into IT requirements (HLDs)
-Manage review business requirements and provide IT highlevel definition to the requirements
-Define scope and estimate effort and provide input to project manager

Busness Analysis and Business Consulting
-Perform business Analysis and Business Consulting according to certain level need
-Involve in project as a business consultant if required
-Gain front-end business knowledge and understand to business requirements
-Regular contact with vendors to obtain information on new enhancements or system upgrades to maintain competence level
-Continuous testing on system to explore the capabilitities as well as challenge the logic of program
-Keep abreast on developments made to other applications which are integrated
-Share market practice and experience
-Manage business consulting in know-how

Govern vendor design and measure vendor deliverables:
-Manage vendor in terms of development/enhancement/delivery quality and facilitating vendor delivery process in quality
-Manage regional piloting with system integration testing, user acceptance testing/integration testing and regional piloting go-live
-Manage documentation of solution and release for rollout

Integration expert and management:
-Map and design system process with business process
-Identify and define integrations among global and/or regional systems
-Identify and define potential interfaces
-End-to-end map data fields and system process between systems

Maintain Regular contact with HQ:
-Receive guidance concerning strategic Daimler digital solutions
-Provide market requirements and prevailing conditions for the development of future process and applications strategies
-Align HQ existing solutions for adoption and adaptation
-Jointly plan with HQ on future development requirement as global solutions with input from oveaseas markets
-Govern and steer the markets in IT digital solutions

-Transfer knowledge
-Perform User Acceptance Test on product delivery
-Support User Acceptacne test to market pilot during rollout
-Support market pilot golive support
