Job Description

We are looking for a Application Support Specialist, who is/are able to fulfill the following requirements:

Duration: 12 Months

- Understand Java, experience in development of multi-tier applications using Java, IBM WebSphere 
- Familiar with SQL queries & databases 
- Familiar with web services / API technology like REST, SOAP 1.2, WSDL 2.0 and XML 1.0 
- Good experience in an IT Application Support/Maintenance 
- Diploma or Degree in IT related course (or equivalent) 
- Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills 
- Proactive, work hands-on and always try to challenge the status quo 
- Enjoys working as part of a team 
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
- Picks up new technology quickly

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be part of the Application Maintenance / Support Team
- Perform incident analysis and closure of incidents raised to the application support team
- Provide support to users and handle queries raised by users
- Troubleshoot and find root cause of the reported incidents
- Provide resolution / workaround for the reported incidents
- Liaising with other teams within the project or external systems in resolving reported incidents when necessary
- Ensure all incidents raised are resolved within SLA (Service Level Agreement)
- Ensure assigned deliverables are completed on time and with the required level of quality
- Perform testing for changes done to the system (if any)
